Welcome to Capstone Bookkeeping’s site! Throughout my career, I’ve loved working with numbers. For more than 15 years, I’ve helped businesses in a variety of accounting roles, from data entry, payroll, collections & full-charge bookkeeping. My passion is reconciling accounts to the penny. I love working with creative business owners who want to understand their books, but don’t want the headache of the minutiae.
I’ve achieved an AAS in Accounting and a BGS in Public Administration from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!). My work experience and education have enabled me to help family and friends with their bookkeeping for years. About three years ago, I took the leap of faith to become an independent bookkeeper and then a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. I started Capstone to provide services to small business inside and outside of Kansas City. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that every business owner is different and has varying priorities. My goal with Capstone is to learn what financial information the business owner needs to grow and succeed, then provide it to them.
